2009 SPAN Calendar
- Submitting Pictures -
There are two ways to submit your pictures to be considered in the 2009 MS-SPAN Calendar.
First, you can send your pictures by e-mail to msspayneuter@bellsouth.net. Send them as an attachment to your email. Please send only ONE picture per e-mail! (note limitations on submissions below) If you have any text to accompany the picture, send that in the body of the email. See below for more on picture text. Also in the body of every e-mail and mailed-in submission, please state the following:
If my dog or cat wins the photo contest, I hereby give permission for MS SPAN to use my photo in their 2009 Calendar.
Once we have received your e-mail submission(s), we will send you an e-mail notifying you of our approval to include the photo, and providing you with a link where you can pay the $20 Entry Fee by credit card. Alternatively, you can mail us a check to the address below.
Second, you can mail your pictures to MS-SPAN at:

If you have any text to accompany the picture, please include that with each picture. Also, please be sure to include the above permission certification for each picture submitted. Please include $20 Entry Fee for each picture you submit.
Picture text: If desired, your picture can include a short description.  Please limit your text to 25 characters or less, including spaces (see sample at right). MS-SPAN reserves the right to edit all picture text for content and size.
Number of submissions: Out of fairness to all participants, please limit your picture submissions to 5 pictures per family.
Pictures returned: If you mail your pictures, MS-SPAN will not return pictures submitted for consideration unless you include a stamped, self-addressed envelope. We will make every effort to return your picture, but even so, we cannot guarantee that your pictures will absolutely be returned. It would generally be advisable to just send us a copy of your picture.
Permissions: in the body of every e-mail and mailed-in submission, please state the following:

Suggestions:
If your camera automatically places a date stamp on the picture, use your camera's options to turn that feature off before you take the photo. A date stamp on your photo will detract from it's overall beauty.
