Q: How did you learn about spay and neuter and its importance? Was there a life event that changed your views? A: No, I just don’t have the extra funds to take care of puppies so I wanted to prevent that! There are too many that run around with no homes.

Q: Is there anything else you would like to share? A: If you care about your pet, you should be responsible for his/her health and well-being. Fathering/having countless homeless animals is not good for the pet, for the homeless offspring, or for your fellow neighbors.

Q: How did you learn about spay and neuter and its importance? Was there a life event that changed your views? A: I volunteered at the ASPCA on the coast when I was 12 years old. I saw all of the puppies and kittens that didn’t have homes because people were not responsible enough to spay their pets.

Q: Without access to affordable spay/neuter, what would you have done? Who/what would have suffered? A: The male cats would have made us miserable spraying indoors if they had not been neutered. We would have likely not let them into the house for that reason. They would have been out in the elements, fathering countless stray kittens, because money was very tight for us at that time.

Q: Without access to affordable spay/neuter, what would you have done? Who/what would have suffered? A: My cat is very small and has had 2 litters each with only 2 kittens and none of them have survived. I’d hate to see her go through that again but we can’t afford to get her fixed right now. Mother dog had 3 puppies and we found a good home for one but we’re keeping the other two. We now have a herd running around the house and can’t have any more. Please help

I applied and received a voucher which got misplaced so I attempted to get another one but never heard back. Unfortunately my lil girl. Became pregnant again before I could get her fixed.
