Q: How did you learn about spay and neuter and its importance? Was there a life event that changed your views? A: I started volunteering at a local shelter/rescue several years ago. I also am actively involved in the actual rescue on the ground.

Q: What do you wish that other people knew about us? A: You guys are much more cost-effective than taking a pet for spay/neuter anywhere else. Some female pets may contract a potentially fatal condition if spaying is delayed or put off. Saving my pet from this condition cost me $700 because I put off paying $50 at MSSPAN .
Q: When did you first hear about MS SPAN and/or the Big Fix Clinic? A: 2013

Q: With so many great organizations to support, why should others support Mississippi Spay and Neuter? A: When you spay, neuter and adopt, the trickle down effect in rescue is priceless. You eliminate the problem before it exists. There are countless
unwanted, abused and neglected animals everywhere.

Q: Tell us about a specific animal or animals who used our services. A: An elderly friend reached out to me for help. Someone had dropped off several cats at her home and they started reproducing FAST! I was finally able to reduce her population to four who were all spayed and neutered. I accomplished this with your vouchers locally and a trip there on a Thursday.

Q: When did you first hear about MS SPAN and/or the Big Fix Clinic? A: I honestly can’t remember. I am part of the rescue community and your name and number have been instilled in my DNA for years. I have taken advantage of both your voucher program and actually traveled many miles to come
with feral cats on Thursdays. With your help, I have made a small dent in the cat population here in the Delta. I often
share your benefits with people. Hope to see you again soon on another Thursday ! Keep up the good work! SPAY! NEUTER! ADOPT!

Q: With so many great organizations to support, why should others support Mississippi Spay and Neuter? A: Because your organization can help tremendously in the fight to lower thunwanted animal populations which seem to be growing as far as seeing overfilled shelters having to turn away those desperately needing help

Q: Without access to affordable spay/neuter, what would you have done? Who/what would have suffered? A: I would have still spayed/neutered but with restraints on soon I could do it and how to pay for it. With your services each one was spayed/neutered as soon as they came of age and/or we acquired them.
