Q: What is the animal's life like now? A: Only one of our five rescued/adopted kittens has been fixed (spayed) so far, (the one female of the litter). She was back to her normal kitten gig within 2-3 days after surgery. Healthy, strong and happy!

Q: Do you remember the first time you saw the animal (when you decided to adopt)? What was their physical and emotional state like? A: Rescued and hand raised/bottle-fed a litter of 5 kittens (4 males, 1 female) when they were approx 2.5 weeks old. They had been away from their mother almost
60-72 hours when we got to them. They were all extremely weak and scared. It was rough for the first few days/nights with little to no sleep as we were nursing them back from what would have certainly been a tragic end. We are happy to say that all five are healthy, strong, happy and absolutely spoiled-rotten!

Q: Is there anything else you would like to share? A: I keep some of your business cards in my glove compartment. I give them out to someone when I see a need. I LOVE ya’ll. Thank you all so much for all that you do!
Q: How did you learn about spay and neuter and its importance? Was there a life event that changed your views? A: I lost a cat I loved because she had delivery problems. I took her to a local vet,but she died anyway. I mourned and blamed myself for years. She left me two little kittens less than a week old. I learned to care for them, promising their mom at her grave that I’d take care of her kittens. They are now 7 rears old. I changed after that. I used to say let nature take its Course I let my pets breed. NEVERAGAIN!
