We are now looking for volunteers to help with our transport program! We pick up animals in Vicksburg, McComb, and Meridian monthly, always on Wednesdays. Volunteers would assist clients in filling out their paperwork and following instructions, as well as loading animals in the van. Animal handling experience required. We are looking for a commitment of 1 transport shift per month.
Local volunteers can meet us on-site at 5:45am in Meridian and McComb, 6:15am in Vicksburg. Volunteers in the Pearl area can ride in the transport van with an MS SPAN employee, which leaves at 4:15am for Meridian and McComb and 5:15am for Vicksburg.
