Outdoor cats are spayed and neutered by reservation only.
Reservations may be made by texting or calling 601-420-2438 ext 21 and confirming with a staff member. Please leave a message if we don't answer. You can also request a reservation by clicking here.
Friendly cats: All friendly cats must be brought in a secure carrier.
Feral cats: All feral cats must be brought in a humane trap. If a feral cat is not in a trap, the full surgery fee will apply—$55 for males and $65 for females. This policy helps reduce safety risks for our staff and minimizes the cat’s stress during handling.
Cats should have no food after midnight the night before surgery. Water is fine.
Check-in time is 7:30 am to 8:15 am. No cats will be accepted after 8:30 am.
A maximum of two cats per household per day are accepted.
Pick-up time is from 4:30 to 5:15 pm the same day (unless otherwise instructed). We close at 5:30 pm.
On particularly busy days, some cats may be held overnight for surgery on the following day.
To qualify for the $15 feral cat special, the cat must be brought in a humane trap and must also allow Big Fix to perform an ear-tip as proof they have been altered.
For friendly cats, the regular fee is $55 for males and $65 for females. Let us know if you are unable to afford the full fee.
Rabies vaccines ($15) are required if not current.
Please do not mislead our staff by putting a friendly cat in a trap to use the special feral price. Friendly cats who arrive in traps will be charged the full fee of $55 for males and $65 for females.
