COVID-19 Update

To protect our clients and staff, the Big Fix Clinic will be tentatively closed until Monday, April 13th. We will be evaluating the circumstances frequently in order to reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.
You Please consider making a donation today to ensure that we can retain our incredibly hardworking staff, reopen promptly, and continue to do what we do best- spay and neuter.
In the warmer months, cats and dogs are more likely to become pregnant. Cats will continue to come into heat until they are pregnant, and dogs can come into heat between 1-3 times per year. We know that being closed could exacerbate our already dire overpopulation problem in Central Mississippi. Here are a few things you can do if you aren't able to get into the Big Fix Clinic right away:

-Keep pets indoors. Separate any intact pets of the opposite sex, even litter mates and parents from kittens.
-Reinforce outdoor fencing. Look for tutorials for adding chicken wire to prevent digging underneath, and for creating a roll bar on top to prevent jumping over.
-Make a spay/neuter appointment at a private vet if you are able. Costs vary greatly from vet to vet, so call around if you are on a budget.

We are still here to answer any questions you may, and hope that you stay safe and stay sane during this difficult time! If you are able to make a donation to help sustain us through our closure, please click here. We appreciate your support.
