Q: Without access to affordable spay/neuter, what would you have done? Who/what would have suffered?
A: It was very helpful having your service. I had to get my two cats neutered at a time I was experiencing financial difficulty.

Q: What is the animal's life like now?
A: One of them ran away, so I don’t know how he is doing. The one that didn’t run away is a very happy and healthy cat. I am happy that he doesn’t get in fights with other cats because he was neutered.

Q: Do you remember the first time you saw the animal? What was their physical and emotional state like?
A: I don’t think they were happy to be in cages, but I think they acted normally. They did not seem traumatized by the procedure and they were well cared for under your care.

Q: Without access to affordable spay/neuter, what would you have done? Who/what would have suffered?
A: I fortunately have a job that allows me to pay full price and donate. My animals would not have suffered, however others will because of resources.

Q: Is there anything else you would like to share?
A: I would like to share that I also have two precious cats that was spayed at Msspan Clinic and they was taken very good care of and to encourage people to use this outstanding clinic and support them in every way possible if possible. They are very well worth it and I thank yall from the bottom of my heart! In my heart I am the greatest fan of animals that ever lived and I wish and pray every day that there was more I could do for them. I always carry extra dog and cat food in my car everywhere I go and if I see a stray I always pullover and feed them and give water. And every time I do this and every time I see a stray I cry and cry because it breaks my heart to see them out there all alone in this big world and I know their scared and I feel their pain. If I ever win a lottery or a large sum of money the very first thing that I will do and this is a promise to all animals in the world not necessarily just cats and dogs, I will have a huge barn or large building just for every time when I see a stray I will have a place for them to call home forever! God bless them ALL!

Q: Without access to affordable spay/neuter, what would you have done? Who/what would have suffered?
A: I honestly do not kno what I would have done and Sugar would have suffered another pregnancy and delivery. (Not that she had a hard time with the pregnancy and delivery but just the fact that it is painful and uncomfortable.) My heart would have suffered for her.
  • Christine Lane
Q: What is the animal's life like now?
A: Sugar is very happy and with a loving family and has a super large roamimg area to run and play.
  • Christine Lane
Q: Do you remember the first time you saw the animal? What was their physical and emotional state like?
A: Yes I remember. She was thin and hungry. Her eyes said help me I am lost. But very very happy when I picked her up and gave her all my love!
  • Christine Lane
Q: Tell us about a specific animal or animals who used our services.
A: I adopted Sugar two summers ago. I found her roaming the road I live on obviously looking for food. Her ribs were showing and the look in her sweet eyes said “help me”. I scooped her up and investigated finding out that her owner had moved and abandoned her. She was approximately 4 months old. I was more than happy to make her part of my family. I named her Sugar because she loves to give lots of sweet sugar kisses and she literally was the sweetest dog I had ever met and her eyes are so intense with gratitude and love. Sugar is a mix of lab and sheppard and weighs 45 pounds, She went in heat very early and had 8 big ole’ puppies from a neighbors pit bull.
She did very well and was the very very best Mother ever. I had her spayed at Msspan and I was more than pleased with the services and smiling faces at the clinic! Sugar had a speedy recover Im sure because of the specific and informative after surgery directions I was given and! all is well to this day

Q: Is there anything else you would like to share?
A: They give you the option of a cone or bitter apple spray to prevent licking the wounds. I chose the cone but my dog continually chewed at it and made his little gums bleed so I went and purchased some bitter apple to try. It is extremely harsh on the skin and blistered him. I stopped use immediately. He is all better now though. I would stick with the cone.
